The availability of paper documentation only no longer allows proper management of the car repairman’s operations. This is why Magneti Marelli After Market Parts & Services has developed customised products that make available databases which can be used to obtain, in real time, technical information on different vehicle models of various brands.

 

 

 


ReTIS

The effective and easy to use technical/repairing tool to manage the circulating vehicle fleet in the best way possible. It consists of one DVD that contains all technical information for petrol and diesel-operated vehicles. The user license is managed by means of subscription and it is valid for 1 year.
During this period, a free update is included for the DVD version, with new automobile models, new characteristics and other information.
Quarterly updates are included for the on-line version.
Alternatively, an on-line version is also available.
ReTIS is recognized by ADICONSUM, the Italian association for consumer and environmental protection, for documentation of jobs described by manufacturers (Scheduled Maintenance).


It contains technical information concerning vehicles of European and Asian make, such as:

- Vehicle identification
- Position of identification data plates
- List of maintenance coupons, with the pertinent lubricants and fluids
- Adjustment data
- Technical engine and tune-up data
- Technical drawings
- Engine Management (including the position of components)
- ABS system
- Air-Bag system
- Air-conditioning
- Electrical systems wiring diagrams
- Repair and maintenance time-tables (coupons)
- Comfort systems (electrical diagrams and operation)
- Explanation of EOBD codes

TECa       (Customer and Workshop Management)

The management software intended for the multi-brand and multi-service workshop that offers:

- Dynamic estimates (4 databases)
- Manufacturer’s time-tables
- Manufacturers’ and Component Makers’ price lists
- Original and alternative spare parts database
- Management of Customer/supplier Information
- Management of expiry dates (Blue Sticker, Revision, Maintenance)
- Archive of repairs carried out 
- Communications to Customers
- Other features (warehouse management, invoicing, etc.)

It has a simple and dynamic  search engine for issued and/or received documentation and allows quick and easy warehouse reference. Always up-to-date thanks to constant updating of database and of spare parts price lists (also updatable through the Internet).

It can be customised since the workshop logo can be added to all issued documents (estimates, transport documents or D.D.T.s, revision letters, maintenance, coupons, etc.) and the possibility to send text messages to Customers to inform them that their car is ready to be picked up or for recall campaigns.
Over 50,000 images of spare parts on a DVD as well as the more than 11,000,000 part numbers of original and alternative products, with prices, allow for the best selection of spare parts.


Available as an option:

  • "Truck": offers a huge number of spare parts for industrial vehicles (6,000 vehicles and 40,000 products);

  • "Bodywork": active graphics, with exploded views for each model, that interfaces with the vehicle database (12,000 vehicles and 3,000,000p roducts);

  •  "Coupons": coverage of the circulating fleet from 1994 to 2008 equal to approx. 80%, with 50,000 technical data sheets, 30,000 repair data sheets, operation code, "service" restoral on vehicles with manual procedure, original and/or equivalent spare parts and, as from 2009, more than 20,000 electrical diagrams.

ASSIST      (Gestione Cliente)ASSIST_avvioAdvanced yet user-friendly estimate-preparation software, with centralised databases (vehicles, times/prices, original spare parts and aftermarket), accessible on the Internet, on dedicated servers and lines for high performances. Customer and vehicle information, as well as estimates and log of jobs carried out, on the other hand, are stored on a PC.
Just a few screens through which an amazing application develops due to easy use, quick response by the server and a huge quantity of data, with more than 13 million spare parts, constantly up-to-date.

 

It offers:
- estimate preparation and acceptance sheets (on-line databases);
- manufacturers’ time-tables (on-line);
- manufacturers’ and component makers’ price lists (on-line);
- original and alternative spare parts database (on-line);
- customer information management (on a PC);
- archive of prepared estimates (on a PC).
- complete, up-to-date information and data for scheduled maintenance (coupons).

Application operational on:
- 18,000 vehicles (versions) with times /prices;
- 11,000,000 products (9,000,000 O.E. part numbers);
- 300 price lists (of which 60 manufacturers);
- 7,000,000 O.E. spare parts with time indication;
- 2,000,000 cross-references;
- thousands of aftermarket pictures/images;
- 20,000 items in the tyre price list

Moreover, ASSIST contains a built-in database "Repair Manuals and Slips", which consists of:
- 50,000 technical data sheets;
- 30,000 repair sheets;
- Manufacturer’s operation codes
- original and/or equivalent spare parts;
- technical data sheets for "service" restoral on vehicles with manual procedure;
- 20,000 electrical diagrams (since 2009).

Coupon-related information ensure a coverage of over 80% of the circulating fleet from 1998 until today.
